Academic Visit of Students from the Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Research Institute to Poolad Industrial Group Factories in Parand Industrial Zone

With the support of the Education Commission of the National Polymer Industries Association of Iran and in line with strengthening collaboration between industry and academia, a group of postgraduate students from the Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Research Institute visited the Parand facility of the Poulad Industrial Group.

The visit was organized to provide students with practical exposure to modern production technologies, industrial processes, and advanced polymer manufacturing lines. The program was met with strong interest and positive reception from both students and faculty members.

Emphasizing Industry–Academia Collaboration

At the beginning of the program, representatives of the Education Commission of the National Polymer Industries Association of Iran welcomed the students and highlighted the importance of closer cooperation between academic institutions and the country’s manufacturing industries.

They emphasized that industrial visits play a significant role in enhancing students’ professional skills. Direct exposure to real production environments can contribute to more informed career decisions and strengthen students’ technical competencies.
